Fishing Tips
This fishing fly needs to sink down a few feet in the water to give it's 'jelly fish' type movement on the pause. It imitates a small fry, and as such fish will likely tug at it's tail as it passes. When this happens, the immediate response from the 'fry' is to get away, so begin a short but very frequent 'tap tap tap' retrieve through the water, creating the correct wake and fanning motion of the Mink within the Apache fly. The Trout should then swing back around for a 2nd or 3rd pass before taking the fishing fly with force!

In May 2020 I received some Black Cut Throat Apache. If you follow the link below you will see that one of them was in fact a Black Cut Back Apache.
