Tube flies for Sea Trout are unique in that they allow the hook to be mounted separately from the fly body. This design offers several advantages, including better hook-ups and the ability to change hooks easily without damaging the fly. It also helps to reduce the leverage a hooked fish can exert, making it harder for the fish to throw the hook.
