Amber Nymph Small
The Amber Nymph Small ios a variant of the Amber Nymph which was created for fishing on Blagdon and Chew reservoirs. It seems to represent a sedge pupa which trout will take at various depths throughout the season. It is one of the earliest 'bugs' created and is a successful stillwater and reservoir fly. The smaller version is more colourful than the originaL and is particularly good towards the end of the season. The Doctor favoured this smaller and more colourful pattern for the latter end of the season.
